My Story

Once upon a time a blonde curly haired child was born.  As she grew, so did her curls, and at the age of 7 they were flawless.
But, then came the older years!  The curse of uncontrollable frizz reined the land, and as did dreadful thickness!
This young child hid those thick "locks" under hats with pigtails.  This carried on till the ripe age of 13.
Soon she wondered, "There MUST be more to curls than this!"
So she searched the kingdom of Google in order to find out the way of the curly girl.  She stumbled upon this informational writing on curls, something called the "curly girl method".
She knew the risks of throwing shampoo out the door were high, but the science made too much sense and she was desperate.
So she searched every store in the kingdom in order to find silicone free conditioner, and once she found it she never parted ways with it.

Obviously, I'm talking about myself here.  I've been following the curly girl method for two years now, and believe me when I say, it has worked magic like nothing else.
In this blog I'll be writing about how to take care of your lovely locks (even in humid temperatures technically speaking I'm really southern), and also will give you tips in general here and there.
My goal of this is to help you to be your absolute best, not only outwardly, but I will also be focusing on the heart.  The heart is the MOST important thing you could focus on, because that is what lasts.

Psalms 31:30 "Charm is deceptive and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord shall be praised."

I was inspired to create this blog when more and more peers came to me asking me about curly hair.  I didn't realize how much of a blessing it is to know how to handle your hair, and I really enjoyed sharing that knowledge with people around me.  So I decided I'd share it with you. :)
Feel welcome to join me on this twisty, curly journey!  I pray that you will learn something from this, and know how to be your curly best. <3

Your Southern Curl,
Billy
